Privacy Statement
How AHORATRA handles the details you enter, what is and is not stored, and the services involved in producing a reading.

The short version
AHORATRA is an anonymous service. No account is required to explore the live sky, view the Panchanga, or generate a Vedic horoscope.
We do not keep a server-side copy of your birth chart, and we do not sell or share your information for advertising.
Information you enter
To calculate a chart you supply your birth date, local birth time, UTC offset, and the coordinates of your selected birth place. If you ask a question of the interpretation feature, that question text is also processed.
These details are used only to produce the requested calculation and interpretation. They are transmitted to our services to generate your result and are not stored afterward as a saved chart.
How your details are processed
Your birth date, time, UTC offset, and place coordinates are sent to the AHORATRA calculation service, which uses PyJHora with the Swiss Ephemeris and the Lahiri sidereal zodiac to compute your Rashi chart and birth Panchanga.
AI interpretation and your name
When you request an interpretation, derived chart placements and your question are sent to a third-party AI provider (Azure OpenAI). Your name is not included in the interpretation request.
To keep the service available, AI interpretation is limited to three interpretations per source IP address per UTC day. This limit is enforced by our data store and does not rely on your browser.
What we keep, and what we do not
No account and no server-side copy of your chart is kept during this launch. Any horoscope file you download stays on your own device.
If you submit feedback, we store only the selected topic, whether the answer was marked helpful, and the length of your question — not your birth details and not the full text of your question.
Operational logs record the request path, response status, request duration, and an anonymous request ID. They do not log request bodies.
Service providers
AHORATRA runs on Amazon Web Services in the Mumbai (ap-south-1) region and uses Azure OpenAI for interpretation. These providers process data on our behalf to deliver the service and are subject to their own security and privacy terms.
Your choices and contact
Because AHORATRA is anonymous and does not retain your birth details or a saved chart, there is no stored personal profile for us to export or delete on request.
